White Ridge Tor consists of two small rocky outcrops on the side of White Ridge, near Fernworthy Forest. The best approach is from Stannon Tor via a grassy path, with views stretching across the southern moor and towards Ryders Hill. The lower outcrop also offers a view west towards the East Dart river and Higher White Tor. The area is free of military firing ranges, apart from a few miles north of Sittaford Tor.
