Two stone hut circles sit on the moorland west of Rippon Tor, evidence of Bronze Age settlement on Dartmoor. The circular foundations, now low stone rings, mark where people built and lived during the prehistoric period when the moor was more extensively farmed and inhabited than it is today.
Nearby runs a length of boundary walling, part of the field systems that divided the ancient landscape.
