Three enclosed hut groups occupy this upland site on Huntingdon Warren, their low stone foundations still visible among the heather and grass. These are the remains of roundhouses, likely dating to the Bronze Age, when Dartmoor supported scattered farming communities. Each group sits within its own enclosure, suggesting separate household units spread across the warren.
Today the site is open moorland, and these ancient dwellings are quiet to visit. The hut circles blend into the landscape, requiring a careful eye to pick out their stone rings.
