Rundelstone Tor is a small granite peak set in the heart of Dartmoor's open moorland. The tor itself is unassuming but characteristic of the moor's granite outcrops, rising from heather and grass with the weathered stone faces that mark Dartmoor's ancient geology.
The walk to Rundelstone rewards with wide views across the central plateau and out toward the surrounding hills and valleys. This is a good place to experience the moor's quieter character, away from the better-known tors, with the sense of space and distance that defines Dartmoor's high ground.
