Promiseland Poetry

Promiseland Poetry represents a creative collaboration between poet John and photographer Carol Ballenger, exploring Dartmoor's landscapes, standing stones, and cultural heritage through poetry and imagery. Their work has been celebrated through exhibitions, publications, and artistic commissions including a string quartet composition and the Touchstone Millennium Menhir.

The collection includes narrative poems commissioned for Dartmoor National Park's 50th Anniversary, the 'Stone Universe' project featuring digital images and panoramas of standing stones, and collaborative works spanning several decades.
