Merripit Hill

Merripit Hill lies in northern Dartmoor between Postbridge and the Warren House Inn. There are only a few paths leading up to the top, running south to north from the B3212 road. The summit offers decent views to the south, including Hameldown, Yar Tor and Ryders Hill. A Second World War observation post sits at the top, making it a useful lookout point, though it can be bleak in winter.
