Meldon Hill sits on the north-eastern side of Dartmoor, near Chagford. It offers fine views down to the town and across to Nattadon Common, with a sweeping vista of tors across the eastern high ground. The summit has two areas, a rocky outcrop and a trig point, making it a satisfying spot to visit. The walk up from the south is easy, while the route from Chagford is steeper. No military areas are nearby.
