Lower White Tor is a compact group of granite outcrops set in a marshy area, with a well-travelled path connecting it to nearby tors. The ground can be treacherous after rain, with hidden holes in the surrounding marsh. From here, the view stretches across the moor, taking in Rough Tor to the north and the distant heights of Hamel Down to the east.
