Longstone Hill rises as a grassy spur from Yes Tor, with a small cairn and a military flagpole at its summit. It sits high above Meldon Reservoir and the Dam, offering good views to the north, east, and south. The steep approach from the reservoir is a test, but the gentler path contours round the summit to the east. A red flag at the flagpole means no access to the south.
