Little White Tor

Grid ref: SX 5380 7871

Situated north-east of a Bronze Age pound on Cudlipptown Down, Little White Tor is a scattered pile of jagged black-faced rocks with a west-facing three-metre-high cliff. The views to the south of Roos, Cocks and Sharp Tors are exceptional, while to the south-west the craggy outline of Smearn Ridge is visible. It lies on the edge of the Merrivale firing range, so watch for red flags if heading further.
