Littaford Tor sits on a ridge between Crockern Tor and Longaford Tor, making it somewhat overshadowed by its larger neighbours. It has one end of Wistman’s Wood below its summit and offers good views to the south towards Crockern Tor and east towards Postbridge. The nearby Merrivale firing range is a couple of miles north or west.
