Ladybrook Tor

Grid ref: SX 6243 9228

Ladybrook Tor is a granite outcrop on the hillside to the east of the River Taw. It is associated with a debate over the correct name of a nearby stream, with some believing it to be Lady Brook rather than Ivy Tor Water. The area features a heavy clitter that slopes westward towards the river, and is known in letterboxing circles as 'Ottery Tor', though this name is considered a misnomer by some.
