John Lloyd Warden Page

John Lloyd Warden Page was born in Somerset. He wrote An Exploration of Dartmoor and Its Antiquities (1889), a similar book on Exmoor, and The Rivers of Devon from Source to Sea (1893).

The Dartmoor book follows him on foot across the moor between the Exe and the Tamar, with illustrations by A. Dawson from his own sketches.
