Hut circles E of Southway

These hut circles, located east of Southway on the moor, are the remains of Bronze Age roundhouses. They sit within a landscape shaped by thousands of years of human settlement and land use. The circular stone foundations mark where families once lived, herded animals, and worked the moorland.
