Hameldown Tor sits above the Bronze Age settlement of Grimspound on the northern edge of a ridge heading towards Widecombe. It has a trig point on its highest point and offers far-reaching views, including of Cut Hill and the North Moor. A logan stone and an ancient cross near the tor add to its historical interest.
