Green Tor sits on the gentle south-west flank of Amicombe Hill, with several squat outcrops of granite breaking the moorland grass. It's best approached from Lydford High Down via a bridleway that skirts Great Links and the Dunnagoat Tors, leading to a clapper bridge over the Rattle Brook. The tor is close to Bleak House and offers views south along the Rattle Brook towards Hare Tor and Fur Tor.
