Ger Tor stands on the western side of Dartmoor, overlooking Tavy Cleave and the River Tavy. It is part of the Willsworthy Range and features a military marker flag pole and hut, evidence of its inclusion within the Willsworthy Firing Range. The tor offers steep drops to the east and fine views westward towards Cornwall. It is best accessed from the Lane End car park and is a straightforward walk from Nat Tor.
