Fur Tor is a remote and rugged tor that requires a determined walk through boggy ground to reach, often via Tavy Cleave. It offers fantastic views to the north and west, with High Willhays and Great Mis Tor clearly visible. A prominent granite stack at the summit provides a challenge to climb, and the tor lies within the Okehampton firing range, so warnings should be heeded.
