East Mill Tor sits atop a hill overlooking the East Okement River and Black-a-ven Brook. It is a large tor with several distinct granite outcrops, especially impressive from the north. The summit has a low flat area of bedrock and an observation post used for military purposes. The views from here are extensive, reaching across the moor to Yes Tor and Belstone Ridge.
