Doe Tor sits on the edge of the Willsworthy Artillery Range, between the Walla Brook and Doetor Brook. Though not as lofty as its neighbours, it offers fine views south and west across the moorland to Cornwall. The tor has three main outcrops with excellent horizontal jointing and a striking rock basin. A flagpole marks the area when the range is in use for live firing.
