Dartmoor Engraved

A collection of over 260 topographical images of the moor spanning the last three hundred years. They are mostly engravings, with some other types of print, notably lithographs. Subjects include Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Brentor, Buckland-in-the-Moor, Chagford, Drewsteignton, Gidleigh, Holne, Lydford, Manaton, Okehampton, Tavistock and more, as well as Dartmoor convicts in the 1880s.

Many of the engravings have not been reproduced since they were printed in the 18th and 19th centuries.
