Cox Tor is a non-granite tor on the western edge of Dartmoor, with a trig pillar on the summit and sparse clitter that allows sharp rocks to protrude from the ground. The views from the top are excellent, stretching across the moor to White Tor, Great Links Tor, and the distant Cornish hills. The area also features grassy earth hummocks, and the tor is easily accessible with good parking nearby.
