Grid ref: SX 6963 7297

On walking routes: Two Moors Way

Bel Tor is a modest granite outcrop on private land, located close to the road near Dartmeet. Though access is restricted, it can be viewed from public paths nearby. The tor features a logan stone and three rock basins, with one basin said to reflect the rising sun. A trig point once stood on the summit, now obscured by gorse and bracken. The best views are from Mel Tor or the road nearby, offering glimpses of Sharp Tor and Hameldown.
