Located between the small market towns of Tavistock and Okehampton, Bearslake Inn is one of the best gastro pubs on Dartmoor from which to explore the delights of the local Moors and Tors of the National Park. As a 13th-century Dartmoor Inn, we're a sanctuary of rest for weary travellers, with six spacious en-suite rooms (four of which are dog-friendly), a restaurant serving pub classics, and a beautiful spacious garden with stunning views over Sourton Tor. Just two miles south of the A30 and the border between Devon and Cornwall, we're an easy-to-reach gastro pub and yet set amidst glorious remote walking countryside on Dartmoor.

The magnificent Sourton Tor, Corn Ridge, and Great Links Tor are all accessible by foot, with the Granite Way cycle path running directly behind our Dartmoor Inn. Our chefs specialise in local produce, and lucky for us, the West Country is blessed with wonderful supplies of meat, fish, and vegetables, alongside a host of small artisan producers of cheese, ice cream, and smoked products.
